Wall Partition Application Displaying Four Panels with 2” Borders
BORDERS — not to be confused with molding, are the uncut area that extends beyond the laser-cut artwork.
Our standard border size is 1” and can vary for your project.
standard border treatments & pattern options
UNIFORM BORDER
one setup fee
Border is the same size on all panel edges, including where panels meet.
1/2 SIZE BORDER WHERE PANELS MEET
two setup fees
Border is adjusted to half size where panels meet, making the interior border appear the same as the exterior border.
NO BORDER WHERE PANELS MEET
two setup fees
Pattern flows continuously across panels without a border where the panels meet.
PATTERN CONTINUOUS WITH NO BORDER
two set-up fees and custom pricing
Pattern flows continuously across panels without a border where the panels meet. In this case, the division of panels needs to be contoured around the pattern or there will be pieces that fall out; this also potentially changes the panel sizes.
PATTERN REPEATED
one setup fee
Second panel is repeat of the first. This is a cost-effective solution, however, the pattern can look awkward where the panels meet.
PATTERN CONTINUOUS
two setup fees
Second panel is continuous, where the pattern flows across from the first panel naturally.
IRREGULAR EDGE PANELS
For a more organic-looking join, panels can be divided with irregular edges rather than straight edges.
IRREGULAR EDGE PANELS

pattern scale & percent open
Each of our patterns are created at a standard scale, which can be increased or decreased for your project. The scale of the pattern is in direct correlation with the percent of open space.
PATTERN SCALE
Scaling patterns down past a 10% reduction incurs additional fees to offset extra laser-cutting time. There is no additional cost to increase the pattern scale.
PERCENT OPEN
Our patterns vary greatly as far as their percent of open space.
This affects the amount of light let through, as well as the level of privacy.
